Cancelled - Five Day Tour: The Art and History of the Peak District

Visit on Monday 21st September 2020 to Friday 25th September 2020

Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park is an area of breath-taking natural scenic beauty, offering dales, rivers natural springs and mineral rich caverns. The county is also home to market towns, pretty villages and historic houses including the opulent and elegant Chatsworth House.

Our tour includes Chatsworth and visits to the National Trust properties of Sudbury Hall and Keddleston Hall, the fascinating Eyam Museum and Church and the elegant medieval Haddon Hall, as well as a specialist tour of Renishaw Hall.

On one day a knowledgeable guide will accompany us on a day tour of the District itself. We also spend time at leisure in Sheffield with an opportunity to explore the wonderful galleries dotted around the city.

We will be based at the Mercure Kenwood Hall, Sheffield (4*) complete with a pleasant Leisure Club with pool, bath spa, sauna and gym. The Hotel is set in its own garden overlooking the Derbyshire Dales.
